My Approach
First, we RELAX… to be receptive to therapy, it is essential you feel comfortable and relaxed. There are many reasons while people put off consulting a life coach or a hypnotherapist: they might be worried that it might bring back painful memories, they think they can’t change or their situation can’t change, they are worried to feel misunderstood or judged…

These thoughts and feelings are called limiting beliefs. They often stem from childhood and maybe recent events have brought them back to the surface. You might be aware of them, you might even know what have triggered these limiting beliefs or they might be in your subconscious mind. As the popular saying goes: “Once bitten, twice shy”. If you’ve been hurt, felt misunderstood or not valued in the past, it’s difficult to trust someone again or to try something new. The limiting beliefs that hold you back in your life might be the same ones which make you hesitate to reach out to a therapist or to try a different form of therapy - many of my clients have consulted before but find themselves at a moment of their life where they feel stuck or have the feeling that there is more to life.

I use mindfulness, hypnotherapy and NLP techniques to help you relax and foster the changes you want to make in your life through guided imagery. I also use Emotional Freedom Therapy and mindfulness to promote emotional healing and self-compassion. Coaching and goal settings help reinforce these positive changes. I will also teach you self-help techniques you can use at home so you feel more relaxed and in control outside our sessions. If you are currently seeing a medical professional, I can communicate with them so we work together to provide you with the best support.

Why do I love hypnotherapy so much? Life coaching is wonderful as we can work together to set up goals and build the life you really want but if there is a trauma that needs healing or limiting beliefs to overcome first, I haven’t found a better technique than hypnotherapy as it works with the conscious mind and the unconscious mind. Hypnosis during hypnotherapy is a highly relaxed state during which the mind is open to suggestions and positive reframes.
For the anecdote, I’ve practiced hypnosis on friends but also on my partner, on my children and even on my parents before. There is no way they would let me hypnotise them if I could make them do something they don’t want to do!

I conduct most of my sessions online. I was first reluctant to use video conferencing but all my clients prefer it now. It’s so much easier to schedule sessions as you don’t have to travel, we can conduct our sessions from the comfort of your own home or office. Virtual sessions allow me to reach out to clients I would never be able to meet in person. I have clients in the UK, in France (I speak English and French) and in Canada.
